Join climate advocates from across the University of California system to envision a truly Fossil Free UC. The UC has just unveiled a draft Climate Protection Policy that needs to be updated to act with the urgency of the climate crisis and within the boundaries of carbon budgets that will lead to a livable future. This webinar will present the science, our proposed updates to the Climate Protection Policy, and how your advocacy can lead to a Fossil Free UC.

This webinar features a special guest lecture from carbon budget expert James Dyke, Assistant Director of the Global Systems Institute at the University of Exeter. He will present on the science of carbon budgets and how universities can and must lead the way in reducing carbon emissions.
