Identity Theft Protection Workshop
Last week the UC Office of the President announced a significant security incident involving UC employee information. The Office of the President continues to investigate the incident, and we expect that more details will become known over time, but in the meantime, it is very important that every member of the UC San Diego community take steps now to protect yourself against identity theft and fraud. To help, we are sponsoring an interactive workshop where we will explain how to register for credit monitoring, how to use the credit monitoring service, and other steps you can take to protect yourself. All UC San Diego faculty, staff and students are invited to a town hall hosted by campus and Health leadership and IT personnel.
